At its 9th Anniversary and Spring Event titled “Reflect and Renew”, Creality unveiled its new HALOT-MAGE series resin 3D printers. With a 10.3″ LCD and 8K resolution, the series aims to provide users with a highly-detailed 3D printing experience.
Next-Gen Resin 3D Printing
The HALOT-MAGE series, including the HALOT-MAGE and HALOT-MAGE PRO, is Creality’s next-gen solution for resin 3D printing.
Its basic version is the HALOT-MAGE, with a 10.3″ masking LCD, 8K high resolution, and an integrated air purifier. No longer do you need a separate air filter for getting rid of 3D printer fumes.
The high-end model of the series, the HALOT-MAGE PRO, comes with the same screen as the standard version and a number of additional features that make high speed resin printing a reality.
For example, it has an innovative resin pump and uses Creality’s Integral Light Source 3.0. The result is a staggering 170 mm/h print speed. Compared to Creality’s first resin 3D printer released 8 years ago, the company’s products have come a long way over the years.
One of Creality’s main priorities is to listen to its users’ concerns. With that in mind, the MAGE series aims to improve on a number of complaints common in resin 3D printing.
For example, the increased print speed is meant to remove the need to wait for prints overnight. This helps reduce the risk of print failure and resin waste.
Resin recovery is made easier as well with the integrated resin pump. No longer do you need to use a funnel to manually recover your resin.
Because of the integrated air filter, the amount of potentially hazardous fumes you are exposed to is greatly reduced. Not only can this reduce health risks, but it also makes the whole printing experience more pleasant.
The handling of the lid is improved as well. It does not need to be completely removed anymore, letting you work with the MAGE in areas with less surface space.
To bypass the limits of small prints with a low resolution, the new 10.3″ screen with 8K resolution offers you way more than the industry standard.
170mm/h Hyper Speed
HALOT-MAGE PRO offers a staggering 170mm/h speed without sacrificing quality. It is 3 to 5x faster than the competition. The “Dynax” motion system lifts and lowers the build plate steadily in only 1.2 seconds. Now, users can produce quality prints in just 1 hour. Magic, indeed.
8K Flawless Large Print
The 10.3in 8K(7680×4320) mono LCD boasts 29.7μm XY resolution, more refined and anti-aliasing than the 50μm of a regular 4K printer. The large LCD brings a generous 228x128x230mm build volume, giving you more space to create. Miniatures, prototypes, props… All can be rapidly printed as the final product.
Integral Light Source 3.0
HALOT-MAGE PRO adopts the 3.0 edition of Integral Light. The light uniformity is above 90%, promising consistent quality across the whole print and enabling 0.1mm hand-removable micro supports. The light intensity is as high as 8000μw/cm², able to cure a layer in 1 second with standard 405nm resin. With the new integral light, users can print models with smooth surfaces and crisp contours.
Professional “MageArch” Flip Lid
The flip lid is easy to open and close with one hand and needless to place aside. It is only 1/4 taller when opened, saving more room. The orange tint is practical to block 99.89% of ambient UV light for minimal interference.
Smart Air Purifier
Powered by the printer directly, the air purifier includes a replaceable activated carbon filter that is 5.8 times larger than others. It will remove resin odor effectively and last about 3 months after each replacement. A vent hole is at the back to connect a vent tube.
Smart Resin Pump
HALOT-MAGE PRO features a smart resin pump for auto resin fill & withdrawal. It can refill or recover 1 liter of resin within half an hour. Less messing by hand, and much fewer splashes and stains. The feeding tube is free to stick into any container.
Aside from the HALOT-MAGE resin printers themselves, Creality also has put in the necessary work on the accompanying ecosystem. After all, a 3D printer is only as good as the 3D printer software that powers it.
For the slicer software, Creality has developed their own HALOT BOX software. It aims to make your experience easier with a simpler workflow and plenty of presets that take the guesswork out of printing.

If you want to control multiple 3D printers at once, for example in a print farm, you can simply use the multi-printer control option in HALOT BOX or Creality Cloud. It’s an easy and intuitive way to manage your printers and get the most out of them.
To get the best performance out of the machines, it is recommended to also use Creality’s high-speed release film, fast or high-precision resin, and the company’s Wash & Cure station.
